She earned her M.A. in Sport and Performance Psychology from the University of Denver and later completed her doctoral training in Clinical Psychology at the University of Denver. She completed her postdoctoral residency with the University of Virginia Athletics Department, providing embedded mental health and performance support to Division I student-athletes. Dr. Brown also completed clinical training through the University of Denver Health and Counseling Center, where she provided mental health services while also supporting Division I student-athletes through her applied work in athletics.
